Human Chronology

Hi, XXX...

I attended the book study meeting as usual held in your condo on Tuesday. YYY and I talked about my Slashdot article - he read it at his office! that was about the concept of time. Regarding this we talked about Bible chronology.

Basically I believe current humans -homo sapience appeared 200,000 years ago. Probably Adam was born at least 7000 years ago. YYY didn't give his idea as to my chronology, but just he said common knowledge people usually took it for granted has sometimes mistakes and some scholar say human only appears on the Earth some 6 or 7 thousand years ago.

How do you think about human chronology? You endorse the result of current anthropological 'common knowledge' or you have your understanding based on Bible description?
